IDPA

International Defensive Pistol Association

Defensive pistol shooting as a sport — the use of practical equipment to solve simulated real-world self-defense scenarios.

Schedule

Monthly matches + open practice on 1st & 3rd Monday, 6-9 PM at the indoor range.

USPSA / IPSC

United States Practical Shooting Association

Combines accurate shooting with movement and strategy using centerfire pistols. Equipment needed: centerfire pistol, stiff gun belt, secure holster, extra magazines.

Schedule

Wednesday practices at 5:00 PM (informal, no scoring, free, open to public). Monthly matches on 2nd Sunday, May-November.

Defensive Action

Defensive action shooting matches and practice sessions.

Schedule

Matches on 3rd Sunday. Practices on 2nd & 4th Monday, 6-9 PM (free, open to public).

Steel Challenge

Speed Steel Shooting

Competitors engage 5 steel targets per stage with 5 attempts. Slowest run is excluded from scoring.

Cowboy Action Shooting

Harvard Ghost Riders

Simulates Old West scenarios using period firearms from the Civil War through 1899 era. MA/CT/RI State Championship held the first weekend in June.

Monthly events. Registration 8:00-9:15 AM. $15 fee (Youth/Buckaroos free).
